Baking Cakes

Now I have it in my mind, I want to bake cakes...

But we have no cake tins to cook them in *sighs* or ingredients...

So at some point, hopefully on Saturday afternoon I can maybe go a wander through some shops, and hope to buy some bakeware for cheap prices.
Although will start with a simple recipe of some sort as I will be rusty at baking cakes, with the baking gap.

Good luck. I had to put cake pans on my Christmas list last year because somehow, after being on my own for over a decade, and married for 7 years, I went to bake and cake and realized we didn't actually own any cake pans. We're more cookie and brownie people... I guess.

Asda do really good silicone ones! Thats where my red ones came from. Their non-stick ones are good too. It's worht spending a little bit on them, as they last. I would advise an 8inch springform non-stick one, and basic pie dish, as you can make almost any baked thing in them.

Nance: he he when I lived with my mum and nana, they had loads of baking stuff...

But the only baking thing I have is silicone and metal cupcake trays :)

But I love baking cakes....although I have never tried making cookies or that before...

Lisa: Yeah I was thinking of going to Asda for a visit, as I have seen bits and pieces....I also need a few chopping boards too! There's nothing to cook with in this house!! :P

Thanks for advising me sis :)
